Just as the sun was going down last night we noticed a giant 20ft spiderweb constructed between two of our Pear Trees. The web itself is massive, but the female construction worker below is the size of my hand!
Her Husband right above her is a little scrawny guy but he's helping her create this fortress and what I am about to call the "Ninth Wonder of the World." This web is big enough to catch a bird!
Although I'm not a big fan of spiders I'll let this family stay providing they stay over there against the marsh and continue to catch those pesky mosquitoes and other nuisance insects.
Gon was brave enough to capture these photos and we're hoping to get an early morning shot soon with the sun behind us.
